Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, student affairs, student engagement, diversity/belonging, or related area.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience, including leadership of professional staff, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success with broadly diverse communities (BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+ students, first-generation students).
• Minimum of two years of experience managing complex budgets and multiple funding streams, including budget development and fiscal accountability.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading programs requiring cross-department collaboration and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision for student belonging initiatives and engagement centers across campus.
• Supervise and mentor a team of directors, staff, and student employees.
• Cultivate campus and community partnerships to advance belonging and student success.
• Oversee orientation programs and coordination with Enrollment Management and campus stakeholders.
• Provide fiscal leadership for the Belonging portfolio and manage multiple funding streams.
• Lead assessment and continuous improvement efforts for the Student Belonging Team.
• Guide campus-wide training to promote inclusive practices and learning outcomes.
