Hilton Baltimore is seeking a Director of Banquets to lead their team. Located at 401 W. Pratt Street, Baltimore, across from Camden Yards and near the Inner Harbor, this hotel offers 757 guest rooms and 63,000 sq ft of event space, providing opportunities for leadership and growth.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of banquet management experience, a collaborative spirit, and union leadership experience.

The Director of Banquets manages the daily execution of all banquet functions, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily banquet functions such as breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, and events
• Overseeing setup of function rooms according to specifications
• Monitoring and developing team performance, including supervision, scheduling, and evaluations
• Recruiting, interviewing, and training staff
• Communicating with departments like Food & Beverage, Event Services, and Housekeeping
• Overseeing breakdown and proper storage of equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards
