Job summary

Southern Methodist University Inc invites applications for a Director of Facilities and Event Operations to lead daily venue usage and event execution for SMU Athletics. Responsibilities include rental management, gameday coordination for soccer facilities, and oversight of key venues, with some evening/weekend work and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 2+ years of facility and event management experience.
• Experience at intercollegiate or professional level is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage day-to-day operations and event scheduling.
• Oversee rentals for Armstrong Field House and related facilities.
• Liaise with Women's Soccer and other teams for day-to-day needs.
• Support operational needs for Washburne Stadium and other venues.
• Assist with additional operational and event needs as directed.
• Occasional evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
