Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Application Engineer for a permanent, onsite role in Burr Ridge, IL. You will bridge customers, sales, engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing to design, implement, and optimize fluid handling and process systems for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Ideal candidates bring strong fluid dynamics expertise, experience with pumps/valves/tanks, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Strong experience in fluid dynamics and process fluid handling systems.
• Experience with pumps, valves, piping, tanks, or similar equipment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 2D/3D design software.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience partnering with sales and commercial teams.
• Ability to work independently and own projects end-to-end.

Position Summary

Holland APT is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing. This individual will support the design, application, and implementation of fluid handling and process systems used in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in fluid dynamics, process equipment, and engineering design while effectively communicating technical solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
