Job summary

Moody’s Corporation seeks an extraordinary leader to head strategic AI platforms and intelligent applications within its Digital Content and Innovation organization. You will steer long-term technical roadmaps, guide multiple engineering teams, and drive architecture decisions for production AI systems at scale.

You will partner with product, risk, legal, and audit to ensure responsible AI governance while building high-performing teams and measurable business impact across Moody’s platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience leading multiple teams or groups of teams with delivery accountability across a portfolio.
• Strong technical depth in TypeScript, Python, C#, or similar technologies and ability to critique design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of mission-critical AI platforms and intelligent applications.
• Define and execute long-term technical strategies and multi-year AI roadmaps.
• Lead, grow, and organize multiple engineering teams with accountability for portfolio delivery.
• Drive architectural decisions and integration of AI-powered solutions using LLMs, RAG, orchestration, and agentic workflows.
• Establish engineering excellence through reviews, testing, observability, security, and MLOps.
• Own budget planning and cost management including cloud infra and tooling investments
• Partner with product, risk, legal, compliance, and audit to maximize customer value and responsible AI governance
• Attract and retain engineering talent through mentoring and leadership development
• Define and report on metrics for adoption, delivery performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
