Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director of Data Science—AI Evidence Extraction to lead AI-enabled evidence extraction across Neuroscience R&D. You will design scalable workflows, align with governance, and partner with clinical, regulatory, and data teams to deliver robust evidence assets for clinical decisions.

You will guide technical direction, manage delivery, and ensure responsible AI practices, while collaborating across sites in the US (e.g., Cambridge, MA; Raritan, NJ; Titusville, NJ; Spring

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative, clinical, or life-science field or MS with relevant experience.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/health analytics with technical direction.
• Hands-on with systematic reviews, meta-analysis, or evidence synthesis.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and roadmap for scientific evidence data capabilities in Neuroscience.
• Build and deploy scalable AI-enabled workflows for evidence extraction and analysis.
• Own delivery decisions and outcomes for AI-based evidence extraction.
• Establish data models, provenance, and quality controls.
• Define validation, evaluation, human-review, and responsible AI practices.
• Develop robust analysis workflows and quantify uncertainty.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, scientific, legal, and technology stakeholders.
• Shape platform capabilities aligned with governance and data-use requirements.
• Mentor cross-functional contributors and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
• Travel to US sites as needed.
