Job summary

The Director will oversee a small team, lead capital campaign planning, and collaborate with marketing to craft a compelling case for support that advances donor engagement and sustainable giving.

Qualifications

• Catholic faith with fundraising or advancement experience.
• 2-5 years experience, with 1-2 years in fundraising or alumni relations.
• Proven ability to cultivate donor relationships and run campaigns.
• Experience leading advancement professionals; capital campaigns a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and CRM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy including annual fund, campaigns, and endowment growth.
• Cultivate major gifts and steward donor relationships.
• Oversee alumni engagement and donor stewardship programs.
• Direct a team responsible for advancement services, events, and communications.
• Collaborate with Principal and Advisory Board on fundraising priorities.
• Use donor analytics to improve fundraising effectiveness.
• Manage the advancement office budget and operations.
• Articulate Marian's case for support with marketing partners.
