Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Director of Activities & Transportation for our Twin Creeks community in Allen, TX. This full-time leadership position develops and leads a vibrant lifestyle program enhancing health, wellness, and resident engagement.

You will supervise coordinators, oversee community transportation, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance across service levels. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience is required.
• Ability to plan and execute diverse programming for seniors.
• Excellent communication with residents, staff and partners.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate community vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and facilitate lifestyle programs across physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities.
• Lead holidays and events, publish monthly calendars, and maintain community newsletters.
• Manage budgets for Celebrations and oversee transportation services.
• Supervise Activities Coordinators and ensure program excellence across service levels.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for senior living programs.
