Job summary

Gefen Senior Care Group seeks a Director of Activities to design and lead recreational programs for residents. You will work under the Administrator and coordinate social, creative activities while encouraging participation in a safe, engaging environment.

Flexibility for weekend scheduling is required, and vaccination is mandated. The role involves standing, walking, and occasional lifting of supplies in a care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities for seniors is preferred.
• Associates degree in a related field preferred.
• Vaccination is required.
• Weekend schedule flexibility is required.
• Requires ability to stand, sit, lift supplies, and ambulate.

Responsibilities

• Provide recreational and leisure activities to all residents.

Job description

Director of Activities, under the supervision of the Administrator. Responsible for providing recreational and leisure time activities to all residents . Engaging residents in stimulating activities and encouraging participation in socially distanced , creative games and events. Applicant must have some flexibility in schedule for activities on weekends .

Applicant must be vaccinated. Proper use of ppe, social distancing and other guidelins mandated by Department of Health
