Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a Director of Accounting Systems & Financial Data to lead strategy, governance, and operation of accounting data and financial systems. You will ensure data integrity, automate reporting, and enable GAAP-compliant financial results for leadership and regulatory filings.

The role oversees integrations, data models, and reporting platforms, partners with IT, Risk, and Finance, and builds a high-performing team of analysts and developers focused on continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial systems, accounting data management, or financial reporting.
• Banking or financial services experience required; regulatory reporting strongly preferred.
• Experience leading technical and analytical teams; strong focus on data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Set vision and roadmap for accounting data architecture, reporting systems, and automation.
• Oversee modernization initiatives including cloud migrations and automation technologies.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and statutory reporting; maintain automated data validation.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with IT, Risk, and Finance to optimize processes.
• Develop and coach a team of accounting data analysts and financial report developers.
