Job summary

Oscar Health seeks a Director of Accounting to lead accounting for recently acquired businesses and platform operations, guiding close processes, subledger activity, AR/AP accounting, and variance analytics. You will report to the Deputy Controller and partner across Finance, Tech, and Legal to ensure integration and control design.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting, 2+ years in close processes, and experience with M&A and health tech platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant accounting experience.
2+ years leading accounting close processes or financial reporting for a business line or acquired business.
Experience with accounting systems, subledgers, AR/AP, or data/process design.
Experience with M&A accounting and post-close integration.

Responsibilities

Direct end-to-end accounting for acquired businesses and platform operations.
Lead integrations of accounting and financial operations for acquisitions.
Manage AR/AP, revenue, and subledger accounting for SaaS/tech-enabled platforms.
Prepare flux and variance analytics for leadership and stakeholders.
Support due diligence input and close-readiness for future M&A.
