Job summary

Crowley in Seattle is seeking an experienced accounting leader to direct the accounting function, ensure timely financial close, GAAP/IFRS compliance, and robust management reporting. This hybrid, Seattle-based role partners with Tax, Internal Audit, and operations to drive accuracy and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Substitution by experience only in exceptional cases demonstrating equivalent technical accounting depth and leadership responsibility.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Direct the accounting function, including financial close, accounting compliance, statutory and management reporting, accounting policy, and related systems.
• Ensure all local and foreign accounting activities and reporting are completed accurately and timely per GAAP/IFRS and regulations.
• Advise peers and management on accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and system impacts.
• Hire, train, and mentor accounting personnel and coordinate with Corporate Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit.
• Support business unit objectives with accurate reporting and risk analysis to inform decision-making.
