The University of Texas System in Austin is seeking an experienced individual to lead financial reporting and accounting functions. The role involves managing GASB compliance for 13 institutions and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and efficiency in financial operations.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required. The position also offers the chance to develop your team and improve financial reporting capabilities.
Leads/facilitates financial reporting, analytics, and accounting functions for the U.T. System Administration and institutions.
The standard retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. However, the incumbent of this position may elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. Participation in either TRS or ORP is mandatory.
