DCA is seeking one qualified Accounting Director candidate. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the agency's financial operations, general ledger activities, reporting compliance, comprehensive accounting, and financial activities. Provides leadership to subordinate managers and staff. Performs a variety of complex studies, research, and reporting. Assumes responsibility for the Office of Accounting and performs other related work as required.

This position is currently designated as a hybrid (part in-office and part remote/telework) position. This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and may require occasional overtime. Local periodic travel may be required
Work is principally stationary, but the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and constantly operate a computer and other office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to perform office-related duties. Must be able to operate office equipment. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, tenants, and community agencies and other entities that provide services. Bachelor's degree in accounting and five (5) years of professional accounting job-related experience, which includes three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Sr Mgr, Accounting (FIM012) or position equivalent.
