LaGrange College seeks a Director of Academic and Workforce Integration to lead work‑integrated learning initiatives, partnering with regional employers and coordinating Career Services and advisory councils.

The role connects faculty, students, and employers, expanding internships, co-ops, and project‑based experiences, while leveraging Title III grant support to build sustainable programs.

Qualifications

• Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills in higher education or workforce contexts.
• Strong ability to develop and sustain employer partnerships and Advisory Councils.
• Proven track record in coordinating career services or workforce development initiatives.
• Excellent communication across faculty, administration, employers, and students.
• Solid project-management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the College’s strategic liaison with regional employers and community partners.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of internships, co-ops, and experiential learning opportunities.
• Provide leadership for Career Services and coordinate with Enrollment Management and academic units.
• Track workforce trends and identify opportunities for student employment and growth.
• Support grant activities and reporting for Title III initiatives.
• Help align experiential learning with curricular pathways without curricular authority.
