Job summary

Strayer Group is seeking an Academic Program Director to lead curriculum development and assessment, ensuring quality programs that meet accreditation standards. You will collaborate with deans, faculty directors, and HR to align curricula with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee course design and delivery, supervise core faculty, and drive learner success and engagement across programs while managing scheduling and program reviews.

Qualifications

• 2 years of full time professional social work practice experience post CSWE MSW degree conferral required.
• A minimum of 1 year required, two years preferred experience as an Academic Program Director in a CSWE Accredited Program.
• A minimum of 3 years teaching in an accredited program or related field; online higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated contribution to the discipline including publishing, committee involvement, or professional association

Responsibilities

• Spearhead and oversee the development and revision of academic offerings.
• Utilize analytics and evidence-based practices to drive continuous quality improvement in learner success, teaching, engagement, and curricula.
• Preside over accreditation and licensure activities to ensure compliance and standards.
• Ensure offerings align with professional trends and obtain validation via credentials and licensure where possible.
• Oversee curriculum development per external standards; supervise SME course development and leadership.
• Lead specialized accreditation processes and self-studies; align with HLC practices.
• Build partnerships to drive success of the school and offerings.
• Orchestrate course offering/scheduling; supervise Core faculty and reviews.
• Host faculty meetings; collaborate with Faculty Director on hiring.
