Job summary

CT State Community College seeks an Academic Division Director – Nursing and Allied Health Programs to lead degree and certificate programs in nursing and related disciplines. The role includes curriculum design, course development, and directing faculty under the Dean's leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Nursing with CT licensure and significant higher-ed teaching and leadership experience, including budget management and diverse stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing and CT nursing license with teaching experience in higher education.
• Experience supervising health care or academic professionals; leadership in nursing education preferred.
• Ability to design curricula, syllabi, and instructional materials for nursing programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop courses and curricula for nursing and allied health programs.
• Directly supervise faculty and staff and supervise instructional programs.
• Oversee program evaluation, assessment, and budget management.
• Engage with community stakeholders and foster clinical partnerships.
