Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking a Training Programs Manager to oversee the Operations Initial and Re-qualification Training Programs, including the simulator, in line with Davis Besse industry and regulatory requirements.

You will also supervise the Maintenance, Radiation Protection, Chemistry, and Engineering Training Programs and engage with industrial technology student programs and staffing development initiatives, contributing to evaluations with INPO and industry groups.

Qualifications

• Four years professional related experience.
• Two years nuclear power plant experience.
• During the two years, the individual shall have participated in the operations or training section activities.
• Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Operations Initial and Re-qualification Training Programs, including the simulator, aligned with Davis Besse industry and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee Training Programs in Maintenance, Radiation Protection, Chemistry, and Engineering.
• Manage the Industrial Technology student program, college programs, and staffing development initiatives.
• Engage with INPO/National Academy for Nuclear Training evaluations and assist in visits with industry groups such as Westrain and Training Program Review Board.
• Monitor training effectiveness and support industry trend analysis.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

Four years professional related experience. Two years nuclear power plant experience. During the two years, the individual shall have participated in the operations or training section activities. Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills.
