Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Manager of Business Operations Strategy & Support in Austin to own end-to-end NPI readiness. You will lead strategy, scale operations, and guide a global, cross-functional team through high-stakes launches and complex production support.

This role blends operational excellence with AI/ML driven resilience at scale. You will build a Center of Excellence, partner across Engineering, Supply Chain, and IS&T, and drive measurable improvements using data-driven roadmaps

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, enterprise systems, or business operations.
5+ years in a people leadership role with global, cross-functional teams.
Deep experience with enterprise application support environments and core operations processes.
Proven ability to build and execute a multi-year operational strategy in a fast-paced environment.
Strong influencing skills across technical and business orgs at the senior level.
Clear, confident communicator capable of presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver a multi-year NPI Systems Execution Strategy for scalable operations.
Lead peak-event readiness with governance and cross-functional processes.
Partner with IS&T, supply chain, finance, and business teams to ensure zero-disruption launches.
Establish pre/post-launch review frameworks to drive continuous quality improvements.
Serve as the leadership voice on systems readiness, managing risk with executives.
Develop a proactive support model spanning L1/L2 for IS&T and non-IS&T platforms.
Build resilience playbooks and monitoring to prevent disruptions.
Own support during high-risk windows including NPIs and quarter closes.
Define KPIs linking support health to business outcomes for leadership review.
Foster a culture of learning and drive operational excellence across teams.
Establish monthly/quarterly reviews to drive cross-functional improvements.
Leverage AI/ML to predict risk and chart data-driven roadmaps for resilience.
Pilot and scale new technologies and automation to improve operations.
Build and maintain a BPR practice to stay ahead of demand.
Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse team of employees and contractors.
Create development plans and a culture of psychological safety and accountability.
Manage services budget and align vendor resources to priorities.
