Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Director of Corporate Affairs to lead integrated internal and external communications for the U.S. Neuropsychiatry Franchise, including a postpartum depression medicine.

You will translate complex science into compelling narratives for patients, clinicians, advocates, and media. The role drives cross-functional initiatives, advises senior leaders, and builds external partnerships to advance disease awareness and patient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences communications.
• Significant experience supporting commercialized pharmaceutical products; neuropsychiatry/women's health experience preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in product communications, strategic storytelling, and multi-channel campaign development.
• Proven success leading consumer and healthcare professional communications programs with measurable goals.
• Experience translating clinical, scientific, and medical information into engaging communications.
• Strong experience engaging patient advocacy organizations and other external stakeholders.
• Experience working in alliance/partnership environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel communications strategies that support franchise priorities and align with company objectives.
• Serve as the communications lead for a medicine for PPD, supporting commercial priorities and lifecycle activities.
• Provide strategic counsel to franchise leadership on messaging, media relations, and reputation-building opportunities.
• Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Biogen Corporate Affairs teams for coordinated execution.
• Drive external media relations strategy to raise visibility of the Neuropsychiatry franchise and products.
