Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD and eligibility for a Texas medical license.
• Proven record as a clinician-investigator with sustained extramural research funding.
• Board certification in Psychiatry or Neuropsychiatry preferred.
• Current NIH funding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear, ambitious vision for the Division’s research, clinical, and educational missions.
• Strengthen national prominence through scholarship, innovation, and expanded research funding.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain outstanding faculty and trainees.
• Foster interdisciplinary programs bridging psychiatry with neurology, neurosurgery, neuroscience, neuroimaging, rehabilitation, and engineering.
