Summary:
As part of Belden’s Technical Solutions & Services (TSS) team, the Solutions Consulting Director leads a team of Solution Consultants (SC) who are developing and designing networks that enable the next-generation of data acquisition, transmission, orchestration and management. The SC Director drives the TSS Strategy, focused on their Practice supporting either Data Acquisition & Transmission, Orchestration & Management or Data Protection & Cyber Security. The SC Director develops and executes plans to develop skills and competencies required to meet evolving client needs to deliver Guaranteed Client Business Outcomes.
The SC Director partners with Digital Automation Consulting and Professional Services Engineers to receive and share critical detail to ensure successful Client Project Delivery. Solution Development, and accompanying information and deliverables, are enabled through Belden Business Processes and Systems. Successful management practices are measured through accelerated pipeline stage progression, growth and resulting solutions bookings. The SC Director is responsible for helping SC Associates identify and propose Services and Packages that aid clients in the Deployment, Management or Maintenance of the Network.
The SC Director utilizes customer specific and industry insights to identify trends, gaps and opportunities to Belden’s Solution Architects and Solution Line Mangers, ensuring the Team’s ability to translate customer challenges into compelling Solutions with demonstrable financial value impact. The successful candidate can help coach associates in constructing solutions that achieve customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meets the Value at Stake. The SC Director partners with other Practice Leaders and teams to propose Solutions. The SC Director observes and provides insights on the development and execution of proof-of-concepts (PoC’s), solution staging, field acceptance tests (FATs), and network audits. The SC Director will demonstrate strong communication, planning, execution and change management skills . Solid knowledge and understanding of key technology and market trends, and competitors’ solutions within the SC Practice they lead is required.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $130,000 to $175,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
