Job summary

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Louisiana seeks a Director to provide administrative, operational, and managerial direction for navigation, survivorship, and support services across the cancer program network.

Job Description:

SCOPE:

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Support Services/Patient Experience the Director provides overall administrative, operational and managerial direction for the navigation, survivorship and support services for the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Program Network. The Director will provide direction in the planning and implementation of new hire clinical onboarding and orientation and the development of clinical guidelines and best practices for the navigation, survivorship and support services utilizing national evidence-based core competencies and national guidelines.

FUNCTIONS:

• 1. Administrative oversight of the navigation, survivorship and support services.
• 2. Oversight of the clinical and patient/family/caregiver services for the navigation, survivorship, and support services.
• 3. Department liaison and representative.
