Raba Kistner, Inc. seeks a Director of Natural Resources to lead the Environmental team across Dallas, Austin, Houston, Conroe, or Beaumont, TX.

The role steers the Natural Resources Service Line, shaping growth, talent development, and client delivery while aligning with the firm’s five‑year strategy. You will mentor staff, oversee project performance, manage budgets, and expand services into new markets, ensuring quality, safety, and value for clients in regulatory and infrastructure contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/engineering, wildlife ecology, geology, biology, natural resources or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience performing and managing natural resources projects including wetlands delineations and permitting; NEPA and other requirements.
• Minimum of 7 years related management experience including responsibility for managing senior‑level professionals and dispersed teams.
• 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER.
• Possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Provide personnel staffing, supervision, fiscal planning and budget management to achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Oversee execution of Service Line projects to meet client and project financial targets.
• Review Service Line project performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Recruit qualified staff and managers to meet goals of the service line and Division.
• Grow the backlog of profitable contracts and expand client offerings and geographies.
