Astranis is seeking a Director of National Security Programs Development to support the US government sales team and shape space-based offerings for Intelligence and Special Operations communities. This senior role engages with government program managers, industry partners, and Astranis leadership to drive opportunities and align capabilities with user needs.
The position requires a BS/BA in engineering or hard science, 8+ years of relevant experience, and TS/SCI eligibility.

Director, National Security Program Development
This position will support the USG Sales team in shaping and capturing U.S. government business opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role has experience both as a user of space systems as well as developer of space capabilities, specifically within the Intelligence and Special Operations communities. This position will include personal interaction with Government program managers, senior decision makers, industry partners, and stakeholder associations. The position involves regular exchanges with Astranis senior management, program management, engineering, operations, and legal teams.

Base pay is just one component of Astranis’s total rewards package. Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
$150,000 - $225,000 USD
