This role is a high-impact leadership position responsible for driving national foodservice sales strategy, building and managing broker relationships, and overseeing all aspects of sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and operational expertise. You will lead a geographically diverse team, collaborate across marketing, finance, and operations, and ensure sales targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Accountabilities
  • Manage national foodservice sales, including direct and brokered channels, to achieve assigned revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies for sales growth, customer retention, pricing, advertising, and distribution.
  • Lead, motivate, and drive performance through broker sales teams, building strong relationships and alignment on goals.
  • Oversee sales support activities such as administration, customer service, distribution, invoicing, credit, and collections to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct market and account analysis to inform action plans, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
  • Collaborate with marketing to manage customer-specific marketing funds and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Provide counsel to senior management on account performance, market trends, competitive landscape, and sales strategies.
  • Coordinate budgeting and program planning for the sales division.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in business, marketing, or related field required.
  • Extensive experience in foodservice sales, including broker management and national account leadership.
  • Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to interpret market research, financial reports, and sales data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of market research tools (e.g., ACNielsen/Circana) is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to make strategic decisions that drive results.
