Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Model Risk Management, Model Validation, or Quantitative Risk roles.
• Proven leadership experience with a desire to step into a strategic leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in Python, R, SQL, and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with MRM and validation frameworks.
• Experience working with and managing offshore teams.
• Ability to assess model quality and provide direction for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Model Risk Management program, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Manage a small U.S.-based team and guide offshore developers.
• Oversee and enhance the validation pipeline.
• Define and implement policies, procedures, and standards for model risk management.
• Establish a quarterly Model Risk Committee within the first year.
• Collaborate with offshore teams for efficient validation work.
• Conduct R&D and support innovation in LLM and foundational model adoption.
• Ensure impactful communication of model risk findings.
