Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group seeks a Director of Mobility & Emerging Technology to lead MECA strategy across US markets, driving software-defined vehicles and AI-enabled mobility. You will convert concepts into funded pilots and scalable programs, partnering with vendors to strengthen Hyundai's competitive position.

You will manage a team, build executive business cases, and secure cross-functional support, aligning finance, legal, IT, and engineering around clear decisions and next steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in strategy, corporate development, product, venture, or new business roles in automotive or mobility sectors.
• Experience leading a team and delivering results through matrixed contributors.
• Strong financial and business case acumen with ROI and investment experience.

Responsibilities

• Define MECA strategy and US market roadmap across software-defined vehicles and AI-enabled mobility.
• Build executive-ready business cases with TAM, ROI, margins, and funding needs.
• Lead partnerships and pilot programs with startups, tech firms, and utilities.
• Manage MECA team and align cross-functional sponsors across geographies.
