Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Director to lead the Mission Systems Integrated Product Team in delivering the SAOC program for SNC, with onsite roles in Richardson, TX and other locations. You will drive execution, integration, and performance within the EMD phase, ensuring alignment to schedule, cost, scope, and risk commitments.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years leading aerospace/mission systems programs, strong EVMS and scheduling skills, and a track record in DoD acquisitions with prime

Qualifications

• Requires University degree with 14+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 12+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• 12+ years leading aerospace/mission systems programs and teams; strong systems engineering background.
• Experience with DoD acquisition environments and prime contractor collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Mission Systems IPT, accountable for cost, schedule, scope, and quality.
• Coordinate across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and mission assurance.
• Oversee requirements decomposition, architecture, design maturation, integration and verification.
• Ensure alignment with Integrated Master Schedule and EVMS baselines and budgets.
• Serve as Collins point of contact to SNC and support prime contractor relations with USAF.
• Deliver executive reporting on IPT performance, risks, and mitigations.
• Lead IPT risk, opportunity, and issue management and cross-team coordination.
• Develop program managers, IPT leads, and CAMs for Mission Systems execution.
• Champion disciplined execution and proactive cross-team collaboration.
