Job summary

Steuben Foods, Inc. is seeking a Director of Milk Plant, Processing, & Blending to lead the Blending, Processing, and Milk Plant departments in Elma, NY.

This role oversees operations, continuous improvement, food safety, quality compliance, talent development, and financial management with cross‑functional partners. You will drive performance improvements, support new product launches, and manage budgets and capital projects in a regulated dairy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Dairy Science, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, aseptic, or related industries.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with GMPs, HACCP, SQF, Kosher, USDA, FDA requirements, food safety, and EHS requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, budgeting, and business skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Blending, Processing, and Milk Plant operations for Steuben Foods.
• Set department goals, operating plans, and performance expectations.
• Drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the departments.
• Develop budgets, manage capital projects, and pursue cost reduction opportunities.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Operations on initiatives and launches.
