Fitch is seeking a Director-level Credit Analyst for US Corporates focused on Middle Market/Private Debt Leveraged Finance. The role emphasizes supporting lenders with timely, insightful research and ratings, backed by strong Excel-driven analysis and senior-level leadership.

You will guide data-driven research, coordinate with junior staff, and engage with investors to explain findings, contributing to Fitch’s growing presence in this sector.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in corporate credit or private debt.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to shift between multiple projects as priorities change.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
• CFA and/or MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build out Fitch’s research on Middle Market/Private Debt topics for institutional audiences.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform ratings and research.
• Manage junior staff on project-by-project basis.
• Communicate findings to investors and sell-side counterparties to grow awareness of Fitch’s research.
