Job summary

Aquatech, a global water technology provider, seeks a Director of Product Development and Membrane Production to lead FO, NF, SWRO, and OARO membrane development and production in Albany, Oregon. The role combines engineering leadership, project management, and hands-on testing to advance advanced membrane solutions.

You will oversee production, scale-up, field pilot testing, and collaboration with sales for technical opportunities, while guiding IP activities and ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics.
• Background in Chemistry and/or Chemical engineering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FO membrane production, ensure quality and performance.
• Lead design, development, and scale-up of FO membrane modules.
• Coordinate element rolling with partner manufacturers.
• Oversee FO testing for performance and reliability.
• Support sizing and engineering of FO systems.
• Provide technical support to sales for opportunities.
• Evaluate new applications and pretreatment needs.
• Provide direction to engineering staff on membrane design.
• Oversee OARO production and QA.
• Lead lab testing and pilot testing of FO applications.
• Support IP development and patent disclosures.
