Responsibilities

• Directly supervises the Medical Staff administrative staff and coordinates with Credentialing Specialist and Clinical Research staff.
• Directs development and management of department budgets and patient care practices to maximize physician availability and hospital resources.
• Oversees contracts and salaries for practitioners; ensures compliance with regulatory standards and hospital governance.
• Maintains governance documents, bylaw updates, and MEC/Board communications; supports performance improvement initiatives.
