Job summary

Revolution Medicines is seeking a highly motivated Director Medical Liaison / Medical Advisor to spearhead medical affairs activities in Spain and support the upcoming German affiliate. The role requires scientific leadership, collaboration with clinical development, regulatory, and commercial teams, and building scientific relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.

Fluency in German and English is essential, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) required; oncology experience preferred.
8–10 years in Medical Affairs or related roles in pharma/biotech.
Strong oncology development, evidence generation, and treatment landscape understanding.
Ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and researchers.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel up to 25% nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement an early pre-launch German Medical Affairs strategy and plan.
Establish trusted scientific relationships with KOLs, investigators, and healthcare professionals across Spain.
Provide medical oversight and input to cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with other Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Affairs, and clinical research departments to support scientific exchange, education, and data dissemination activities.
Contribute to medical input in promotional and non-promotional materials, internal training, and advisory boards.
Plan and execute national medical meetings, symposia, and congress participation to enhance scientific visibility.
Support investigator-initiated trials and local clinical research activities in collaboration with global and regional teams.
Monitor the competitive and scientific landscape to inform internal strategy and provide actionable medical insights.
Partner with HEOR and market access to develop real-world evidence and outcomes research projects.
Ensure compliance with German and EU regulatory frameworks governing interactions with healthcare professionals.
Collaborate closely with Clinical Operations and CROs, including site selection, Site Initiation Visits, and investigator engagement.
