Job summary

Iyuno USA in California seeks a senior leader who will own and optimize media supply chain orchestration across ingest, transcode, conform, QC, packaging, and delivery. You will lead engineers, review designs, and push initiatives from conception to production, ensuring live, adopted solutions.

The role stresses strategic thinking, benefit-driven design decisions, and early risk management with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Media supply chain, without exception. You have worked in media orchestration, post production workflow or broadcast engineering, and you understand ingest, transcode, conform, QC, packaging and delivery at a technical level.
• A leader of engineers. You have managed a development team and are measured on what the team ships, not on what you ship. You will be technical enough to review a design, challenge an estimate and read the code, and disciplined enough not to write it.
• Strategy and initiative. The single most important quality. You identify what should be built before anyone asks you, you make the case, and you drive it through to production.
• Delivery to production, repeatedly . A track record of things that actually went live and stayed live, with users who adopted them.
• Secures user input before building. You go to the operators, understand the real workflow, and design against it.
• Surfaces dependencies early. You raise structural blockers while there is still time to act on them, not at the deadline.
• Credible externally. You can hold a design conversation with a studio engineering team and represent Iyuno well in it.

• A leader of engineers. You have managed a development team and are measured on what the team ships, not on what you ship. You will be technical enough to review a design, challenge an estimate and read the code, and disciplined enough not to write it.
• Strategy and initiative. The single most important quality. You identify what should be built before anyone asks you, you make the case, and you drive it through to production. A capable executor who waits for direction will not succeed here.
• Delivery to production, repeatedly . A track record of things that actually went live and stayed live, with users who adopted them. We will ask for specifics.
• Secures user input before building. You go to the operators, understand the real workflow, and design against it. We have learned what the alternative costs.
• Surfaces dependencies early. You raise structural blockers while there is still time to act on them, not at the deadline.
• Credible externally. You can hold a design conversation with a studio engineering team and represent Iyuno well in it.
