Title: Director of MBK Library and Learning Center
Program: Bedford Green House Phase II
Salary Range: $80,000 to $85,000 annually
Program Description:
Bedford Green House Phase One and Phase Two are supportive housing programs in the Bronx. The MBK Library and Learning Center is located in Phase Two. The combined project serves 232 individuals and families. The MBK Library and Learning Center will provide programming specifically designed to support the needs and enrichment of our residents, for example, homework help, group activities with Occupational therapists, child and adult reading programs, computer literacy, job readiness and more.
Job Description:
Reporting directly to the BGH Senior Director for Phase One and Two, this role will be responsible for all library operations, programming, reporting and planning for this special program which will serve families, children and young adults. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and experienced in working with children and families. This role requires the ability to manage workflow with cross functional teams, budgets, program schedules, attendance and to provide feedback and reporting is a must.
