Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine is sought to provide clinical and strategic leadership for NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County’s high-risk obstetric program. The role requires building multidisciplinary teams, advancing perinatal care, and leading quality improvements with a focus on equity and access.

Ideal candidates will have board certifications in OB-GYN and MFM, NY license, and a track record of leadership in academic or safety-net settings.

Competenze

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Active or eligible for a New York State Medical License.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership in an MFM program, preferably in a safety-net or academic medical center.
• Academic rank of Associate Professor or higher.

Mansioni

• Provide clinical leadership for the high-risk obstetric and MFM program.
• Lead program development and strategic planning to expand MFM services.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives to improve perinatal outcomes.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on clinical operations and program priorities.
• Oversee and support MFM faculty and contribute to their development.
• Provide education and mentorship to obstetricians, midwives, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, trainees and students.
• Foster research and academic initiatives to advance maternal-fetal medicine.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and public health agencies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure coordinated care.
• Report to the Chairperson of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
