Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Director, Material Movement & Production Supply to lead warehouse and production supply operations across HQ and Orange County facilities, including receiving, put away, picking, kitting, line-side delivery and outbound shipping.

You will manage managers and hundreds of hourly associates, open the Long Beach campus, and ensure safety, efficiency, and cost targets are met through data-driven leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, industrial engineering, business or related field or 15+ years equivalent operations experience.
• 12+ years of experience in fulfillment, distribution, 3PL or warehouse operations with leadership of a high-volume site.
• 6+ years leading managers or supervisors across multiple shifts or sites with 200+ hourly associates and ownership of safety, labor and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations across HQ and Orange County sites: receiving, put away, storage, picking, kitting, line-side delivery, outbound shipping.
• Own zero line stoppages by material, dock-to-stock, on-time kit, and line-side fill rate; use root-cause analysis for improvements.
• Build daily labor and productivity views from system data to staff every shift.
• Lead from the floor with Gemba walks and kaizen events to target problems.
• Own safety and cost at every site with a budget for labor, overtime, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain rigorous transaction discipline and traceability for government property and export-controlled material.
• Hire, train, and develop hourly associates and supervisors; manage overtime and attrition.
• Launch the Long Beach campus with leaders and standard work aligned to HQ measures.
• Test warehouse system changes on the floor before go-live and evaluate layout/automation handovers.
