Universal Kid’s Resort is designed to spark the imagination of children with a truly unique experience compared to existing destinations. Located in Frisco, TX, this new project aims to inspire wonder in visitors of all ages, focusing on families with young children. The resort includes a park designed to ignite the art of play and a 300-room family hotel to provide continued excitement for children and relaxation for adults. The environment involves working in various climate conditions, standing for long periods, and in noisy environments. Working hours often include weekends, holidays, and evenings. Job Summary

Responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing & sales plans, trade segment marketing, and local partnerships to drive awareness and demand for Universal Kids Resort (UKR). Focuses on local and regional markets to establish and maintain effective marketing and sales strategies, partnering with UDX Marketing & Sales teams and Operations to ensure alignment and elevate the resort’s presence and campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop strategic marketing and sales plans to drive initiatives, including campaigns, sales and pricing strategies, trade partnerships, and incentive programs. Implement initiatives to increase attendance, repeat visits, brand loyalty, and seasonal activations, ensuring guest needs are central to strategies.
  2. Lead and collaborate on marketing communication plans to ensure consistent messaging aligned with overall objectives. Maintain UKR branding and follow local marketing and sales requirements for revenue, discounts, and partnerships.
  3. Partner with stakeholders to develop sales initiatives for both the theme park and hotel, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and leveraging input from various teams.
  4. Monitor and measure marketing and sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and communicate updates organization-wide to manage risks and localization efforts.
  5. Develop campaign metrics, conduct performance assessments, and maintain ROI tracking to meet business goals, adjusting strategies as needed.
  6. Manage the budget, track expenditures, analyze financial reports, and review invoices, ensuring financial efficiency.
  7. Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per company policies.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Supervises both exempt and non-exempt team members.

Additional Information

  • Some domestic travel required.

Education
