Role Overview

As a Director, Market Operations, you will lead and optimize Honest Health program operations across your assigned partner(s), ensuring performance metrics are met, partner and patient outcome goals are achieved, and processes are standardized for scalability. This role involves close collaboration with market medical leadership to align clinical and operational objectives, with a strong emphasis on managing partner relationships within the assigned portfolio. The Director will work to resolve operational challenges, drive strategic initiatives, and support growth and performance. A key focus will be on ensuring that market activities align with Honest’s broader goals and your partnerships’ successful growth. You will foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organization and your team.

This is a managerial role overseeing practice engagement and working closely with your team and cross-functional partners to develop performance recommendations aligned with Honest and partner objectives.

The role is primarily remote; however, frequent travel to the Kalamazoo area and Mid-Michigan is required for meetings and practice visits.

Primary Functions:

  • Support daily operations within assigned markets, partnering with operational and clinical leaders to meet activity metrics aligned with organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary contact with Honest partners, fostering strong relationships and resolving operational issues.
  • Implement best practices to ensure consistency and scalability, and develop strategies for growth.
  • Drive partner performance to meet organizational goals through regular engagement with leadership and providers.
  • Review key performance indicators with teams and partners, identifying improvement areas and fostering accountability.
  • Use data and insights to address operational challenges and enhance performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and partners on strategic projects to advance organizational goals.
  • Partner with clinical leadership and cross-functional teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Manage key meetings with partners, including leading discussions, summarizing next steps, and presenting results.
  • Support network initiatives to ensure access for attributed patients.
  • Work with Finance to produce financial analyses relevant to the market.
  • Develop project plans with clear goals and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Build and update playbooks and toolkits based on learnings.
  • Promote Honest Health in the local market to enhance community understanding of our model.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or related field; MBA or MHA preferred.
  • Located in or near Kalamazoo or Mid-Michigan, or willing to travel frequently.
  • 7+ years in healthcare operations, especially in value-based care or provider enablement.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities, with experience managing healthcare partnerships.
  • Proven success in scaling multi-site or multi-market operations.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of care delivery processes, including facility and service-based operations.
  • Knowledge of health plan administration, medical management, and regulatory environments for government programs.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with EHR, CRM, and billing systems preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel.
  • Adept at change management and clinical operational improvements.

The salary range is $145,200 - $170,600, based on experience and other factors. Compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
