Job summary

Aprilaire is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead a fast-paced, 24/5 facility with up to 250 employees. You will shape strategy, build leadership capability, and drive operational excellence across safety, quality, and cost while enabling long-term growth.

Reporting to the SVP of Operations, you will develop plans, mentor leaders, and champion Lean, Six Sigma, and OEE. The role requires a proven track record in high-volume manufacturing and talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading salaried leaders and large hourly workforces.
• Proven track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, and business performance.
• Experience driving organizational growth, culture enhancements, and large-scale improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual Plant goals and initiatives aligned with company strategy.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Build and sustain a high-performance culture with engagement and accountability.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure capability, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
