We ask that our team members be physically located in Central European time or Eastern Standard/Daylight time zones for the purposes of our collaboration hours.
We are seeking a Director of Engineering to join Spotify’s Personalization Mission. Our goal is to build and surface the best listening experiences that connect fans and creators in a personal and relevant way. We are looking for someone that already has the level of experience managing a team of engineering managers and product scope of a similar magnitude.
In this role, you will be instrumental in growing the Home product area where your impact extends beyond your teams to the larger organization. Home is the flagship of the Spotify app, surfacing the best of what Spotify has to offer, including music and podcasts for every situation, personalized playlists, new releases, old favorites, and undiscovered gems.
What You'll DoThe United States base range for this position is $238,725 - $341,035 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
