Qualifications

• Experience in federal tax planning and risk management.
• Lead and grow Tax M&A practice with private equity and pass-through structures.
• Strong technical judgment and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnership transaction structuring and modeling, including basis step-ups, 704 allocations, disguised sale considerations, debt allocations, and related transactional issues.
• Deliver post-close planning and transitional services.
• Analyze complex federal tax issues affecting partnerships and other pass-through entities and document conclusions in clear deliverables.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary teams across multiple transactions to deliver high quality, timely, practical work.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on partnership-driven transaction issues with commercially balanced recommendations.
• Own engagement economics, including scope, staffing, budgets, billing, and collections.
• Coach and develop high performing teams, emphasizing technical excellence and executive communication.
• Build and deepen client relationships, support business development and proposal efforts.
• Contribute to practice growth and thought leadership (articles, alerts, webinars, conferences, market content).
