SUMMARY

The role involves providing strategic oversight to develop and implement profitable marketing and business strategies, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), for Senior Market Sales, LLC and its subsidiaries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Marketing and Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior management to craft and execute profitable, compliant marketing and business strategies. Support staff development within marketing divisions and oversee marketing plans for carriers, including communications and industry engagement. Assist with M&A opportunities, including outreach, due diligence, and integration.
  2. Employee Solutions: Work with the Alliant Employee Benefits Division to develop systems and programs that expand revenue and maintain industry competitiveness.
  3. Relationship Management: Negotiate with carrier representatives, develop product portfolios, and support marketers and advisors to achieve sales success and growth.
  4. Personnel Management: Supervise designated staff, including hiring, performance reviews, and policy enforcement.
  5. Leadership and General Management: Set goals, monitor performance, manage budgets, and lead strategic initiatives aligned with company values and mission.
  6. Special Projects and Other Duties: Participate in committees, support special projects, and perform additional tasks as assigned, ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in financial services or marketing, with a minimum of 10 years in insurance sales or management. A Master's degree is preferred.
  2. Skills: Strong sales and marketing knowledge, industry familiarity, financial acumen, supervisory skills, negotiation, communication, project management, and proficiency in MS Office. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
