Job summary

The Sun Rose West Hollywood is seeking a Director of Entertainment Sales to lead strategic sales initiatives for the entertainment market, managing group and transient revenue and cultivating high-value industry relationships. You will drive top-line growth by securing preferred partnerships, negotiating favorable terms, and collaborating with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and inventory.

The role requires deep entertainment industry knowledge and a track record in luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive hotel sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years selling directly into the entertainment industry.
• Proven ability to achieve aggressive revenue targets.
• Experience working within luxury, lifestyle, or upscale hotel environments.
• Experience selling within West Hollywood/Los Angeles markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual entertainment sales strategy aligned with hotel revenue objectives.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure profitable deal structures.
• Coordinate with Catering, Events, and Operations for flawless execution.
• Maintain visibility throughout the sales cycle from prospecting through post-event evaluation.
• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships throughout the entertainment industry.
