Job Summary

Job Description

The Director of Logistics is accountable for international and US domestic logistics transportation planning and execution activities in coordination with Supply Chain and other supporting departments as well as outsourced fulfillment partners, carriers, and vendors. Responsibilities include developing and adhering to a transportation budget, creating risk mitigation plans related to secure deliveries, and executing cost savings initiatives.

• Primary contact for transportation activities: Oversee all domestic and international shipments.
• Cost optimization: Work with geographic teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Export/import compliance: Develop, implement, and train teams on international shipment processes to ensure compliance with trade and customs regulations.
• Issue resolution: Address delays, customs issues, and distressed customer situations promptly.
• Trade data management: Research, report, and ensure compliance with international trade data requirements.
• Stakeholder interaction: Support customs interactions, classification, and documentation.
• Process improvement: Maintain accurate records and optimize logistics processes in line with company goals.
• Regulatory awareness: Stay informed on laws governing import/export activities.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in logistics or related fields.
