The Director of Logistics is accountable for international and US domestic logistics transportation planning and execution activities in coordination with Supply Chain and other supporting departments as well as outsourced fulfillment partners, carriers, and vendors. Responsibilities include developing and adhering to a transportation budget, creating risk mitigation plans related to secure deliveries, and executing cost savings initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in logistics or related fields.
Organizational Impact: Recommends and executes strategies impacting business results, manages resources, and influences senior leadership decisions.
Communication & Influence: Engages with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, clients, and partners, to influence and negotiate.
Innovation & Complexity: Leads process improvements and handles complex, impactful problems often requiring extensive experience.
Leadership & Talent Management: Manages large teams, staffing plans, and has authority over hiring, firing, and rewards.
Knowledge & Experience: Requires advanced management knowledge, technical expertise, and a minimum of a bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
