Job summary

Security First Insurance seeks a Director of Litigation Strategies & Outcomes to lead the company’s litigated claims program, guide litigation strategy and operations, and drive outcomes while managing internal teams and panel counsel relationships. The role requires senior leadership experience in P&C claims litigation and a JD with active Florida bar admission, plus alignment with our hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Eight years of Property & Casualty insurance claims litigation experience.
• Five years of progressive leadership or management experience.
• Active Florida driver’s license and Florida State Bar license.

Responsibilities

• Lead litigated claims program, including strategy, staff operations, and panel counsel management.
• Direct litigation strategy, claim resolution, settlement planning, and risk management initiatives.
• Oversee and develop legal, trial, paralegal, and technical claims teams.
• Manage panel counsel performance, outcomes, and compliance with guidelines.
• Monitor litigation budgets, legal expenses, and operational performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain litigation procedures, workflows, audit standards, and quality programs.
• Partner with Claims leadership and stakeholders to support business objectives and enterprise risk management.
• Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, and development of team members.
• Participate in catastrophe response efforts and work onsite under the hybrid model.
