About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use): 12

Role Overview: This role provides direction and support to the Data & Research’s Corporates commercial teams by leading compliance-focused conversations that drive revenue. This position requires a strategic approach to ensure that compliance initiatives align with business objectives, fostering growth and sustainability. Responsibilities include assessing customer licenses and terms, helping commercial teams diagnose use cases, leading licensing conversations, and coordinating with commercial teams to develop and deliver proposals and presentations. The position also involves developing medium to long-term strategies to protect and grow the value of S&P’s data. Compensation is based on the achievement of growth objectives.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $102k - $160k. Final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead compliance-focused discussions with internal and external stakeholders to support revenue generation.
  2. Develop and implement compliance strategies aligned with business objectives.
  3. Collaborate with commercial teams to support sales efforts through compliance initiatives.
  4. Provide training and guidance on compliance-related matters to commercial teams.
  5. Offer strategic insights and act as a thought partner on complex licensing issues.

  • Build strategic relationships with key executives to support business needs and long-term partnerships.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively to stakeholders, negotiating solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Engage in high-level strategic meetings with key clients to foster relationships and discuss partnership opportunities.
