The Job
Omnidian is looking for a Head of Legal Operations to drive efficiency, innovation, and strategic growth across our legal function. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced legal operations professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys implementing cutting-edge technology solutions, and is excited to build scalable legal processes that support our rapidly expanding cleantech business. Reporting to our VP of Legal, you will be the operational backbone of our legal team, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize workflows, manage technology, and ensure seamless legal operations.
This will be a remote position in the US.
What You'll Do

Legal Technology & Process Optimization (40%)
- Own the administration and optimization of our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, ensuring maximum efficiency and user adoption across the organization
- Lead evaluation, implementation, and management of AI tools and legal workflow automation to drive productivity gains
- Design and continuously improve legal department processes, metrics, and reporting dashboards
- Manage vendor relationships for legal technology stack and coordinate with IT on system integrations
Regulatory Compliance & Customer Relations (30%)
- Draft comprehensive, strategic responses to regulators and state enforcement agencies, protecting company interests while maintaining customer relationships
- Develop and maintain complaint resolution processes and regulatory compliance documentation
- Coordinate with customer success teams on complaint prevention strategies and trend analysis
- Support ongoing compliance with applicable regulations
Strategic Legal Operations & Analytics (20%)
- Partner with VP of Legal on strategic legal initiatives, department planning, and resource allocation
- Create and maintain legal department policies, procedures, and playbooks to enable scale and consistency
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating legal operations with business systems and processes
- Manage outside counsel relationships, budgets, and matter management
Innovation & Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Champion adoption of emerging legal technologies and innovative workflows within the legal department
- Stay current on legal operations trends and recommend strategic technology investments
- Support board meeting preparation and corporate governance activities
- Provide holistic operational support across all legal workstreams

Experience You'll Need
- At least 7 years of legal operations experience at a technology or other high-growth company
- Experience with Ironclad
- Demonstrated success implementing and optimizing legal technology solutions and workflows
- Strong analytical skills with experience creating metrics, dashboards, and process improvement initiatives
Experience That's a Plus
- AI tools and legal workflow automation experience highly desirable
- Startup or high-growth tech company experience
- Cleantech, renewable energy, or regulated industry background
- Experience with privacy regulations (GDPR, state privacy laws) and cross-border compliance
- Public benefit corporation or ESG governance experience
- Legal project management certification or formal operations training
