Nscale, a GPU cloud provider for AI, offers a Director, Legal - Critical Infrastructure, US role overseeing end-to-end contracting for US data center campuses. You will negotiate with major counterparties and guide legal strategy across jurisdictions, ensuring timely, compliant project delivery.

You will partner with construction, procurement, finance, real estate, energy and operations teams to drive project outcomes, manage outside counsel, and own contract templates and playbooks.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of construction and infrastructure legal experience.
• Experience negotiating EPC, design-build, and equipment supply agreements.
• Fluency in construction risk allocation including warranties and indemnity.
• Strong first-chair negotiation capability.
• Ability to explain complex legal risk to non-lawyers and stakeholders.
• Licensed attorney admitted in at least one US state.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the negotiation of owner-contractor, EPC, and design-build agreements for data center campus construction across the US.
• Draft and negotiate design and consultancy agreements with architects, engineers, and consultants, including framework structures and ownership of deliverables.
• Negotiate supply, installation, and O&M agreements for on-site power generation and equipment with service levels.
• Support site acquisition, development arrangements, and ground leases; coordinate with regulatory and local counsel.
• Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks; run counterparty comment rounds and align positions across projects.
